Gain Muscle Mass Help Issue #101

Issue #101 of the gain muscle mass help newsletter is ready to go with some excellent muscle building information.  In this edition we take a look at CLA supplements and try to come to some sort of conclusion about their effectiveness for aiding in fat loss. While not necessarily one of the most popular muscle building supplements, CLA has gained widespread acceptance among the weight loss and fat loss communities. Because of this growing and devoted following among weight loss junkies and all of the solid scientific evidence pointing to it’s effectiveness, I thought that it would be worth a look.

After we tackle CLA supplements, we take a long look at the particulars of one of the most effective muscle building principles ever discovered…Progressive Overload!  Without proper stimulation, your muscles will not reach beyond their comfort zone and actually grow.  The most effective way to stimulate consistent muscle growth is through the application of the progressive overload principle.  Brush up on your knowledge of this effective yet underutilized muscle building principle!

After we discuss the process of tearing down your muscles in order to stimulate muscle growth, I thought that it might be a good idea to talk a bit about muscle soreness.  The fact of the matter is that if your are going to train for muscle growth, you will eventually face sore and achy muscles.  As with most things in life, knowledge is power (and in this case, less muscle pain) so read through these tips and find out how to minimize the pain of sore muscles.

Moving on, I review Mike Geary’s popular fat loss program The Truth About 6 Pack Abs. While The Truth About Abs has become somewhat of a phenomenon on the net,  I still thought that it might be a good idea to lay out exactly what you get with this 6 pack abs program.  While the sales letter and marketing information always look tempting, sometimes it’s nice to pull back the covers and take a long hard look at something before shelling out your hard earned cash.

What I discovered while reviewing this program is that it is a very well thought out and actionable fat loss program for anyone looking to simply slim down and expose their abs.  What The Truth About Abs isn’t, is a comprehensive muscle building workout plan, but it is built around solid fat loss principles like eating a well rounded nutrient dense fat loss diet, incorporating high intensity short duration aerobics and muscle building weight training workouts.  This is a winning combination for stripping away fat and exposing your abs.

  1. Very well written article. It will be helpful to everyone who employess it, as well as me. Keep doing what you are doing – looking forward to more posts.

  2. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  5. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  6. If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

  7. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

  8. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  9. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  10. Awesome post! I just bookmarked it.

  11. Hi there I so much like your special site, I would be happy if i could blog a adorable review on your incredible webblog in my little would you say yes? <a href=http://www.theironden.com professional muscle is my primary interest.

  12. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

  13. Very interestingWow. I should concede, I was planning on posting about this field ASAP. You’ve forced me to refine my thinking.

  14. Easy! You are going to give yourself a embulism :p

  16. It’s remarkable for us to find something on the our on-line world which is actually as delightful and intriguing as what you’ve have in this article! Your site is nice, your pictures are terrific, and what’s more, you use reference that are usually relevant to what you’re expressing! You’re absolutely one in a trillion, wonderful job.

  17. obviously like your web-site however you have to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome to inform the truth on the other hand I’ll definitely come again again.
